  • Pasadena City Park Rules

    The following is provided as a summary of the rules governing the use of Pasadena city parks. For additional information, please reference Titles 3, 6 and 8 of the Pasadena Municipal Code.

    The following activities are prohibited in Parks and Areas (PMC 3.24.110):
    -Drinking alcoholic beverages
    -Golf playing
    -Driving motor vehicles or bicycle riding anywhere but on roads or drives provided for such purpose
    -Operating mini-bikes, model planes, go-carts
    -Dumping or Littering of any material
    The following activities are prohibited unless otherwise authorized by a written permit issued by the City of Pasadena (PMC 3.23.110)
    -Use of firearms or fireworks
    -Offering for sale any merchandise
    -Organized sporting events

    Sections 6.12.010 & 6.12.015 of the Municipal Code require that:
    All dogs must be on a leash in public places, except where expressly permitted. Anyone bringing a dog into a park be responsible for cleaning up any nuisance committed by the dog.

    Anyone Violating these sections of the code is subject to a $500 fine and/or 6 months in jail.
