2015 Educational Scholarship Winners
Congratulations to this year's scholarship winners Mariella Diab D'Avirro of Blair High School and Miranda Johnson of Polytechnic School who both wrote essays on drought-conscious lifestyles.
PWP honored two outstanding Pasadena high school student seniors with a $5,000 educational scholarship for the upcoming 2015-2016 academic year to a two or four year accredited post-secondary institution.
- Applicant must currently be a senior at a high school in the City of Pasadena
- Applicant must be a resident within the Pasadena Water and Power territory
- Applicant plans to be enrolled as a full time student in a two or four year accredited post-secondary institution in the upcoming academic year

2014 Educational Scholarship Winning Essays
Ashley Storms of Marshall Fundamental High School earned the top prize of $5,000 for her essay advocating the use of solar, wind and water power to meet the country’s energy needs and curb global warming. Read her essay here.
William O’Keeffe of Blair High School earned the second-place award of $1,000 with his essay on using social media and a statewide “Water Fast” campaign to promote water conservation. Read his essay here.
