Project A.P.P.L.E. (Assisting Pasadena People with Limiting Emergencies) has helped thousands of residents keep their lights on following a sudden job loss, severe illness or other financial emergency.

This vital program is made possible through the voluntary contributions of the business community, utility customers and city employees who understand that tough times can hit any of us. During these tough economic times, every donation counts. 100% of Project A.P.P.L.E. donations go toward grants for eligible customers.

Anyone can donate - - You don't need to be a Pasadena resident or PWP customer to help a neighbor in need.
Note: Paypal deducts a 2.2% + $0.30 service charge per transaction. Example: Paypal will deduct a $2.50 service charge from a donation of $100. * If you use a credit card or email address that is already linked to a Paypal account, you must login using your Paypal username and password.
You may drop off a check in person or mail it to the Jackie Robinson Center, 1020 N. Fair Oaks Ave., Pasadena, CA 91103 (Make the check payable to "City of Pasadena" and be sure to specify "Project A.P.P.L.E." in the note.)
If you’re a PWP customer, you can make a donation of any amount by checking off the Project A.P.P.L.E. box on your PWP billing statement and including the donation with your payment.
