    PROJECT NUMBER E17-08, RFQ TAXIWAY C AND D WEST END DESIGN AND GENERAL AVIATION RAMPS DESIGN SERVICES AND PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ENGINEERING SERVICES

    Description: The work generally consists of two separate and distinct phases: 1) Design Services, and 2) Construction Administration Services).
    Due: Firms are invited to submit its statement of qualifications no later than 4:30 PM on May 05, 2017 to the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority for Project Number E17-08, TAXIWAY C AND D WEST END DESIGN AND GENERAL AVIATION RAMPS DESIGN SERVICES AND PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ENGINEERING SERVICES. The SOQs shall be submitted electronically to the Authority by uploading to the PlanetBids website by time and date specified. Late, emailed, faxed, or hand delivered submissions will not be accepted. The SOQ shall be in a .pdf format. There will not be a scheduled meeting or jobsite tour prior to the SOQ due date.

    Contact: RFQ documents can be obtained directly from the PlanetBids website at https://www.planetbids.com/portal/portal.cfm?CompanyID=21910. Any inquiries or requests for interpretation concerning this procurement must be in writing and submitted through the Authority’s e-procurement website portal, PlanetBids, via the Q&A tab. All communications during the procurement process shall be to the exclusive attention of Alisa DeHoyos, Manager-Purchasing through the PlanetBids portal. Questions posted via any other method will not be considered. No questions or requests for interpretation related to the RFQ will be accepted after 4:30 P.M., April 30, 2017.

    Special Requirements: Airport Improvement Program funding and Consultant will be conducted in accordance with the qualifications-based selection process described by FAA Advisory Circular AC 150/5100-14E.

    DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE CONTRACT GOAL. In accordance with 49 CFR Part 26, and the FAA’s Required Contract Provisions for Airport Improvement Program and for Obligated Sponsors (revised June 29, 2016), the Authority has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal of 16.12% for this contract. The Authority’s award of this contract is conditioned upon the responder meeting the DBE goal or demonstrating that it has made Good Faith Efforts to meet the established DBE goal. Good Faith Efforts will be evaluated by the Authority in accordance with the requirements of 49 CFR § 26.53 and Appendix A.
