  • The videos were developed by the California WIC Program for orientation of new WIC participants. WIC is a health and nutrition program for women, infants and children. WIC helps families by providing checks for buying healthy foods from WIC-authorized vendors, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and support, and helping finding other programs or services you may need.

The video part 1 is the introduction about the WIC program. Part 2 goes over the foods you can buy and the important parts of your WIC check. Part 3-8 show you how to shop for WIC foods and what happens at checkout.
