New Year’s in Pasadena

P ASADENA RESIDENTS PARTICIPATE IN NEW YEAR’S ACTIVITIES alongside the thousands of visitors who come from all over the world. Here are some tips and activities to make your New Year’s celebrations complete.

Tips for a safe and sane holiday

  • Dress warmly and bring proper weather gear to avoid hypothermia.

  • Tents, sofas and campfires are not permitted along the parade route.

  • Throwing any object at vehicles is strictly prohibited.

  • Public consumption of alcohol is illegal.

  • Setting off firearms and fireworks is unsafe and illegal.

  • Don’t use homemade barbecues. Only professionally manufactured brands are allowed along the parade route.

  • Obey traffic and parking regulations; pull to the right for emergency vehicles.

  • Report suspicious activities to 744-4501 (or 744-4241 from a cell phone) or call 9-1-1.
