Improve, Maintain and Enhance Public Facilities and Infrastructure

infra1Investing resources to improve our infrastructure is vital to the continued growth and development of Pasadena. Whenever you drive on a city street, take a stroll on a neighborhood sidewalk, have a picnic in a park or visit a public library, you can’t help but notice that the City of Pasadena has created public spaces and roadways that reflect the character of the community.

A new capital plan for the Rose Bowl Stadium got underway to ensure its financial stability and continuing status as a pre-eminent college football stadium.

Robinson Park saw the completion of the first phase of expansion and renovation, including a regulation-size football field – with artificial turf and a soccer overlay – two baseball diamonds, new restrooms, a concession stand, field lighting, electronic scoreboards, bleachers and a storage building. Playground renovations were made at Grant, La Pintoresca and Brenner parks, and new restrooms with higher standards were completed at Jefferson, McDonald, Robinson, Singer and Villa parks.
