Looking to the
Future
Pasadena’s successes stand firmly on the legacy of local leaders and
city officials who created the foundation for this magnificent community in
1886.
Today the Pasadena City Council, the city’s Executive Leadership Team and more
than 2,000 city employees have an enormous impact on day-to-day life in this
community, and we couldn’t possibly do it alone. Our partners in the community –
residents, businesses, non-profits, institutions, volunteers – help keep the
City of Pasadena on the path to success. We have weathered many storms together
and celebrated many achievements.
As we enter 2010, Pasadena has already hosted the traditional New Year’s Day
events as well as the Bowl Championship Series final game, all three of which
provided an economic shot in the arm and focused the eyes of the world on this
community.
As we move forward in this new year, phase two of the General Plan will once
again unite Pasadenans as the updates of the General Plan are created. Thousands
of residents and businesses will continue to green their homes and offices, and
will offer their input on a comprehensive plan for future water resources. |
