Six free seminars were conducted for owners of small business. With themes including “Promoting on the Internet” and “Making Your Business Memorable,” the intention of the well attended workshops was to sharpen business skills and improve profits so these entrepreneurs can prosper in Pasadena and contribute to the local economy.

Pasadena Public Library increased the number of services offered to the business community by adding additional business- and statistics-related online databases, introducing the Library Business Card allowing an unlimited number of company employees access to the library’s electronic databases, enhancing business development resources and providing a special collection for technology-based businesses.
