Support and Promote the Quality of Life and the Local Economy

Decisions made by a city affect many areas that touch people’s everyday lives – their homes, the schools their children attend, the jobs available to them.

econ1The Pasadena Citizen Survey showed an overwhelming 93 percent said this community is an “excellent” or “pretty good” place to live. Bungalow Heaven was named one of the 10 Great Places in America by the American Planning Association. Three new neighborhoods were added to the National Register of Historic Places: Marguerita Lane, Pegfair Estates and Poppy Peak.

Many residents graduated from the Pasadena Neighborhood Leadership Institute where they learned how to affect positive change, contact city officials and assistance agencies, influence decision-makers and make a difference in their neighborhoods and community.
