Support and Promote the Quality of Life and the Local Economy
Decisions made by a city affect many areas that touch people’s everyday
lives – their homes, the schools their children attend, the jobs available to
them.
The
Pasadena Citizen Survey showed an overwhelming 93 percent said this community is
an “excellent” or “pretty good” place to live. Bungalow Heaven was named one of
the 10 Great Places in America by the American Planning Association. Three new
neighborhoods were added to the National Register of Historic Places: Marguerita
Lane, Pegfair Estates and Poppy Peak.
Many residents graduated from the Pasadena Neighborhood Leadership Institute
where they learned how to affect positive change, contact city officials and
assistance agencies, influence decision-makers and make a difference in their
neighborhoods and community. |
