Mayor and City Council

The City of Pasadena operates under a city manager form of municipal government. The Pasadena City Council is comprised of seven representatives elected by district; the mayor is elected at large. They meet most Mondays at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber (room S249) at Pasadena City Hall.

The council sets policies that are implemented by the city manager and more than 2,000 employees in
15 departments.

These leaders are committed to ensuring that the city fulfills its broad range of responsibilities to the community.
