The Planning Department's Building and Neighborhood Revitalization Division is committed to serving as partners for solutions in the development of safe, healthy and economically viable neighborhoods. Its role is to ensure the long-term competitive position of the Pasadena's housing stock leveraging the partnerships with the public and private sectors. The Building and Neighborhood Revitalization Division accomplishes this through the development of ordinances, enforcement of the city's zoning and housing and environmental codes.
The Building and Neighborhood Revitalization Division manages the Buildings, Code Compliance and the Permit Center sections.
The Building and Neighborhood Revitalization Division contains two inspection teams, one for code compliance and one for building inspections.
