A Message from the Director
“Welcome to ONE CITY, ONE STORY 2011. In this our ninth year of presenting a single book for all of the community to read, we explore the rich history and social fabric of the rural South just after World War II. Come join the discussions and programs that will enrich your understanding of Hillary Jordan’s captivating tale. Be sure to mark your calendar for Saturday, March 26 when Ms. Jordan will converse with me in Pasadena’s Convention Center and give us her special thoughts and insights. That’s a conversation you won’t want to miss! The book reads quickly, but the messages and ideas will stay a long, long time.”
