POLICY
Employees of the City of
Pasadena have a right to expect equality of treatment without regard to
race, religion, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, disability, age,
marital status, gender or sexual orientation, or any other protected class
of persons designated by law. It shall be a violation of this policy for
any City employee to engage in discriminatory conduct or harassment
against a fellow employee or member of the public on the basis of a
person's protected class status.
In order to effectuate this
policy, the City of Pasadena has established a Discrimination Complaint
Procedure which allows City employees to seek redress of what they may
perceive to be discriminatory conduct or harassment.
