The City of Pasadena has established a one stop office to help you coordinate the various approvals and logistics for holding an event on public property targeted primarily to the general public.

We are involved with coordinating approximately 80 major public events a year from the Lunar New Year Parade and Festival & Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure to the Humane Society Wiggle Waggle Walk and  Post-Parade logistics for the Tournament of Roses Parade. 

CITY OF PASADENA SPECIAL EVENT PROCESS

This is the place to initiate the Special Event Permitting Process for your event if it will be open to the general public and conducted at a City park, facility or street.  Click here to download a Special Event Inquiry Sheet and instructions for initiating the permitting process.

CITY HALL has reopened. If you would like to stage a private event at City Hall or in the courtyard rotunda, please call (626) 744-7195.

For those who are conducting a private event such as a picnic or party not geared to the general public at a park, please contact the Park Reservation Desk at (626) 744-7195 or via email at rsvdesk@cityofpasadena.net to inquire about a park reservation and park rental contract.

If you are conducting a private event such as a neighborhood block party not geared to the general public within the public right-of-way, please contact the Public Works Permit Counter at (626) 744-4195 to inquire about a street closure permit.
