Parking/Base camp Info

 

The Pasadena Film Office is now located in the City Hall building:

100 N. Garfield Avenue Room S-116

Pasadena CA 91109

 

Please click here for custom map and directions to City Hall.

  • Payments should still be made at the Permit Center at 175 N. Garfield Avenue.  "No Parking" signs should also still be picked up at the permit center.
  • The beautifully restored City Hall building is now available for filming on all days of the week except Mondays.

    WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS:  We have new procedures for filming at City Hall.

WHAT WE DO

The Pasadena Film Office coordinates all on-location production (features, television series, commercials, student films, independent films, still fashion shoots, etc.) in the City of Pasadena. We also market our City to the entertainment industry as a potential filming location.

See Film Permit Processing Times to ensure yourself and the Film Office sufficient time to process and issue your film permit.

WHAT SERVICES WE PROVIDE

A Pasadena specific location (scouting) library -- on the Internet

Coordination of all city permits and logistics (police, fire, public works staffing, etc.) for all productions coming to Pasadena

Mediation of disputes between local residents/merchants and film crews

bullet

Assistance to local residents/merchants in promoting their properties to the entertainment industry

Safety reviews of all proposed on-location productions

Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.

Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

 

The City is closed on alternate Fridays.  Please click here for the City's holiday and closed Friday schedule.
