WHO WILL TRIUMPH?
Pasadena is known worldwide for its annual Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game, but it is also a renowned college town. Cheer (and chuckle) from the bleachers as teams from Pasadena’s top schools compete in kooky contests during the 2013 Collegiate Field Tournament, set for Friday, April 5, from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm at the Rose Bowl Stadium.Sponsored by the city, the good-natured smash-up pits teams from Art Center College of Design, Caltech, Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, Fuller Theological Seminary, Pacific Oaks College and Pasadena City College against each other in competitions that are anything but academic. Picture beach-ball croquet, Frisbee golf, Lego car-building, and Pasadena’s version of the Hunger Games- and you’ll get the idea.Current Students (with a school ID) from the participating institutions who complete a survey will be eligible for an opportunity drawing featuring a pair of tickets to the Legends of the Summer Stadium Concert Tour featuring Justin Timberlake and Jay Z at the Rose Bowl. The Rose Bowl Stadium is located at 1001 Rose Bowl Drive. Admission is free, and parking’s available in Lot B with access to the stadium via Gate C.
