Advisory Safety Committee
The Safety Officer chairs the Advisory Safety Committee. The Committee is comprised of representatives from each Department. The Committee meets on a quarterly basis and is a platform for open discussion and information exchange.
Motor Vehicle Review Committee
The Safety Office coordinates and manages the Motor Vehicle Review Committee. This committee, comprised of representatives from Public Works, Water & Power, Police, Fire, and General Liability, reviews vehicle accidents sustained by City vehicles or those that occur during City business for loss-control purposes.
Training Resources
The Safety Office conducts training and assists with training employees in a wide variety of topics. The Office also maintains a video lending library and list of complete training packet topics designed to allow supervisors to conduct training during tailgate meetings in a self-serve style.
