2013 Rose Parade
The biggest and best known of Pasadena’s annual events are the New Year’s Day Rose Parade® presented by Honda and the Rose Bowl Game® presented by VIZIO. The 124th installation of the pageant and the 99th football game will be held on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. If you’d like to attend, begin planning and make your reservations in advance. Tickets sell out early, and hotels in the city book up in anticipation of these holiday events.

2013 Rose Bowl Game
Known as the The Granddaddy of Them All, the Rose Bowl Game presented by VIZIO kicked off a myriad of college football legacies in 1902. Since then, the game has showcased 18 Heisman Trophy Winners, produced 29 national champions, featured 190 consensus All-Americans and honored 98 college football legends by inducting them into the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame.
Just a few hours after the Rose Parade®, two of the nation’s top college football teams meet to challenge each other in an exciting match at the Rose Bowl Stadium before an on-site audience of more than 88,000 fans. Part of the Bowl Championship Series, the Rose Bowl Game® is known as “The Granddaddy of Them All”® because of its beginnings in 1902, when it became the first national, post-season collegiate football game.
Tickets
The majority of game tickets are distributed by the participating teams and conferences. A limited allocation of tickets becomes available to the general public in December through Ticketmaster. 213-365-3675, http://www.ticketmaster.com
The Tournament of Roses will offer Pasadena residents a limited number of tickets to the 2011 Rose Bowl Game. The sale will take place on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the Pasadena Center Box Office (located at 300 E. Green Street).
