HOT! (Hands on Technology) a series of free workshops sponsored by the Flintridge Operating Foundation and presented by Women At Work at the La Pintoresca Branch Library will feature three introductory workshops in Spanish for those who wish to learn basic skills; Computer Basics, Introduction to the Internet and E-mail Basics. Computer Basics will be held on Thursday, September 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Introduction to the Internet will be held on Thursday, September 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. E-mail Basics will be held on Thursday, September 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A second series of workshops offered in English will cover Word, Excel and How to Build a Website. Microsoft Word will be held on Wednesday, September 23 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Microsoft Excel will be held on Wednesday, October 28 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Beginners: How to Build a Website on a Shoestring Budget will be held on Wednesday, November 18 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
