The community is invited to discussions about Pasadena’s future priorities at the remaining workshops hosted by Pasadena City Council members in their districts.

Participants will help their elected council representatives map out the most important qualities and characteristics of Pasadena and define the community’s most pressing concerns.

The workshops are among several events designed to engage the community in the General Plan update that will guide how Pasadena grows and changes, where buildings and natural open space should be located and how clean and simple travel can be prioritized.

The schedule for the remaining workshops is:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 13, 7 p.m. – District 6 workshop hosted by Councilman Steve Madison at Maranatha High School Student Center, 169 S. St. John Ave.
  • Thursday, Oct. 15, 6 p.m. – District 3 workshop hosted by Councilman Chris Holden at Pilgrim Tower East, 440 N. Madison Ave.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 20, 6:30 p.m. – District 5 workshop hosted by Vice Mayor Victor Gordo at Villa Gardens, 842 E. Villa St.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 21, 6:30 p.m. – District 2 workshop hosted by Councilwoman Margaret McAustin at Santa Catalina Branch Library, 999 E. Washington Blvd.

The district workshop series is among many activities including MoveAbout Tours through Oct. 12, a speaker series through Nov. 4 and a major General Plan open house Saturday, Nov. 14.
